James and Patty Galvez are the founders, owners, and operators of The Music Lair, LLC — a music production school dedicated to inspiring creativity in kids and teens.

James Galvez is an accomplished music producer and mentor with prestigious accolades, including a Latin GRAMMY, a BMI award, and a platinum record. He developed the school’s unique curriculum and serves as the Program Director, guiding students as they learn and grow through music.

Patty Galvez is a professional singer and graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where she earned a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Business Administration. She oversees business operations and leads business development for The Music Lair.

Married for 20 years, James and Patty are proud parents to a 17-year-old daughter — and a beloved furry family member. Their daughter began studying classical music at the Yamaha Music Center at the age of 5, later transitioning to music production lessons with her dad at The Music Lair in 5th grade. That same year, she wrote and produced her first original song titled "Look Within". Today, she continues to write and produce her own music, exploring her creativity and voice as a young artist.

As parents, James and Patty understand the realities of raising well-rounded children in today’s world. Their daughter was involved in a wide range of enrichment programs, including Piano, Kumon, Fibo, Dance, Sports, and Sunday School. Their personal experience has shaped their belief that creativity isn’t just an outlet — it’s an essential tool for success.

At The Music Lair, their mission is simple: to equip young creators with the skills, confidence, and creative freedom to bring their ideas to life.
